I’m not sure if I want to know what my love of ruins says about me, but I really do find long-abandoned and dilapidated structures beautiful.

The best are the places that have plants growing where you wouldn’t expect plants to grow. I wonder if there’s a way to use the industrial detritus as part of a forest ecosystem the way abandoned ships can be used around coral reefs.
