Silent Night

Silent Night is easily my favorite Christmas song. It’s just the right balance of quiet, pretty, and haunting.

Here are my two favorite versions:
John Denver and The Muppets
Simon and Garfunkel

    I see that Santa brought a mention of you and your dinosaur prints in the Columbus Alive – Happy Happy Joy Joy!

    I like Mannheim Steamroller’s recording of “Silent Night” with the plinking toy piano. Also Etta James’s version with the souful sax.

    Thank you! It’s really weird to see that image in print, especially in a paper I’ve been reading since I was in high school.

    I don’t think I’ve heard either of those versions. I’m going to have to hunt them down now.
