Round Trip by Ann Jonas was one of my favorite books growing up, and it made me a bit giddy to rip off reference her style in the last panel.

Independents’ Day 2010 was a blast. Thanks to everyone involved (especially my brother, who also has a birthday tomorrow) and everyone who came out. It was great to meet people in person, and amazing to watch people read and react to my comics in real time. It was interesting (and surprising) to see what different people related to, and encouraging to know that my weird little observations do have some broad resonance.
