I’m not sure why those steps are there. If it was a little further south, I would assume they were left from Olentangy Park, but I think I live a bit too far north for that.

Perhaps those steps were part of the Canoe Club?

I think you’re right. They were definitely put there for launching boats of some kind.
It’s a shame there are so many little dams along the Olentangy. I’d love to get a kayak and go up and down the river from there.
