People tend to assume that I don’t like going outside, just because I dislike hot and sunny weather. In fact, I just think that it’s much nicer to be outside when it’s cool and overcast. Because I moved into this apartment in October, I had no idea how many people flocked to the bike path and river in summer. I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t excited for it to be cold so that it’ll be all mine again.

That’s the truth; my wife and I go for walks in the neighborhood and to the park year round, yet it’s always a bother when the weather warms up and everyone else decides to go too.

It seriously took me a good five minutes to figure out why it was so crowded. I think I just assumed that I was the only person in the neighborhood who knew that one of the two big rivers in Columbus existed. ;-)
