Possible reasons that the car is on the wrong side of the road:

-She’s passing someone just out of frame.
-We’ve somehow driven to England
-She’s so distracted by my dullness that the car drifts.
-I’ve only recently learned about “cars” and didn’t realize that one had to pick a specific lane in which to drive.
