I finally figured out how to draw cats! I’ve never been happy with the way they’ve turned out in my comics, but the other day I realized that my biggest problem was in their eyes. I always draw humans with dot eyes (which, lately, have almost become Little Orphan Annie eyes), but cats with relatively realistic eyes. I don’t know why it never occurred to me that cartoon cats could also have cartoon eyes.

Also, I wonder how many Ninja Turtles I’ve managed to draw for this comic over the years. I can think of five just off the top of my head.
